So Jackson is almost 2, and I've tried taking the plug away before, but I've always tried to do it gradually, by still letting him have it when he goes to sleep. But then he always seems to get sick or start cutting a new tooth and I let him have it during the day again. So he has finally cut all his teeth and I decided its finally time to say goodbye to the plug! Monday morning I had him throw it away, and he was really good about it and he hasn't asked for the plug even once since. He hasn't slept well the last 2 days, but I really don't think that has anything to do with his plug. Lets face it, this kid has never slept well, and if he's like his daddy he probably never will sleep well. Anyway we are happy to be done with the plug and let Jackson be a big boy now!
