picture catch-up

About 3 weeks ago we took Jack to the zoo for the first
time. His favorites were the zebras (which he decided say
"brrr"), the prairie dogs, the ducks, and the flamingos!
He also got bit by a turkey at the "petting"-zoo, where
you actually aren't supposed to pet anything. He was a
brave boy and didn't even cry.

So my one of my boss' clients gave her 4 tickets to see
High School Musical on Ice and she gave them to me. I've
never watched the movies, I was vaguely familiar with a
couple of songs from the 1st one since my sis-in-law used to
watched it all the time. But still I went, I took my nieces-
Anna and Hallie, and my boss' daughter Catarina. We had a
good time. The girls weren't very happy with the finale
though, there were colorful sparks shooting out of the
ceiling! I loved watching the skaters, they were really
talented. While I had a few hours of girl time, Jason had
class and Jackson got to go to his aunt and uncle's house
and play with his cousin Lincoln.

Last Thursday the twins I babysit had a half-day so
after lunch Catarina and I took Jack to Roadrunner
park and we fed the ducks and played on the play-
ground. Jack would break off a piece of bread for the
birds and then take a bite for himself. He had so much
fun chasing the birds and quacking at them!

funny pic!

Jack knows where his belly button is! On request he
can also show you his nose, ears, hair, teeth, mouth, eyes,
fingers, feet, head, and tummy! He is getting so big. He
tries to copy everything we say! He says basketball,
cracker, cookie, eye, elmo, mama, dada, grandma,
papa, autumn (au-ta), josh, dog (dogga), sock (gacca-don't
know why but that's what he always says for sock), those
are his regulars, but he surprises us with something random
everyday. And I'm pretty sure he has called me
Jodi a few times, weird.
