I was awarded by Jolyn Cavey, whom I've been friends with and looked up to since we were in Young Women's together. I was a Beehive and she was a super cool Laurel who made YW so much more fun for me, especially at camp! Thanks Jolyn! Here are my truths..(this is scary)
1: I'm very insecure. Anytime I'm talking to anyone, I always over analyze everything I do and say, and worry what they think about me. It's really irritating and I've never figured out how to stop. I also hate my hair about 90% of the time, no matter what I do with it.
2: When I was 3 and my cousin Kristine was 6, I bit her on the cheek at a family reunion and I've never lived it down! According to my uncles I've bit alot of people, but that's the only example anyone has given me.
3: I'm a small town girl who swore she'd never move to Phoenix. And I have fallen completely in love with the big city. I love driving on the freeways and knowing where all the surface streets are. I love that Phoenix is an almost perfect grid with numbers going one way and street names going the other. And I love being able to find any store or restaurant I want.
4: I LOVE TO READ! I would read every second of the day if I had the time.
5: The summer I was 15, my best friend Melissa and I watched The Emperor's New Groove and Anastasia every single day! I still could probably quote both movies from beginning to end!
6: In 8th grade, Melissa and I were obsessed with the Backstreet Boys. One day Mrs Golden had a BSB pen in her jar, so during Tech Lab class we used the pen and we kept it (she didn't know who's pen it was, so we figured it was ours, oops) and we still pass it back and forth every so often!
7: I was born in Phoenix General Hospital and like a year later it was condemned!
8: I hate putting away laundry, so it usually sits on the guest bed(that's why we have an extra room, right?) until there are like 6 loads piled up and then I put them away. I know it would be alot faster to put them away one load at a time as they come out of the dryer, but I just don't do it.
9: I used to want 4 or 5 kids, but now that I know how little sleep you get as a parent I don't think I could handle 5 to 10 years of no sleep. I think I will only have 2 or 3, even though I really really LOVE being a mom. I think I will be a better mom if I have less kids and more sleep.
10: I love my husband so much! I'm so thankful for him going to school and work full time, so I can stay home with Jackson. I'm thankful that he is such a good cook, since I am not. I love how he gets so excited about something and obsesses over it for weeks and weeks until he finds something new that is exciting (right now it's the Dark Knight, when it comes out tomorrow I know he'll watch it about 5 times this week!) I love watching him play with Jackson. I love that he is so smart and talented. I love being his wife!
I can't believe I thought of 10 things, that took alot less time than I thought it would.
Lucky ladies I award are:
1- Melissa Scott
2- Amber McBride
3- Heidi Gunnell
4- Jennifer Whipple (both of them!)
5- Crystal Smith
6- Kimberly Fullerton
7- Ginny Moses

Thanks for joining in the fun, I LOVED reading yours and match you on a bunch of them too, especially #1. I know for me I over analyze myself especially when I compare myself to others.....so I have been trying to not compare myself to others. That's a tough one though, I am sure others are far more wiser than me in that area:0)! Thanks for the compliment too, that was SUPER sweet!
Congrats on your Award!! :o) I loved learning 10 new things about you! (btw, your hair is always cute!)
