Midnight Sun... (oops I meant "midnight showing"...)

So back in 2005 I went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Loved it! #4 is my favorite of the Harry Potter books and the movie was great. But I also have always held a little anger in my heart of the poorly casted Cedric Diggory.

Well when I found out that the same actor was now going to be the beloved Edward I almost decided not to see the movie. I went to see Twilight fully expecting to leave disappointed, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoyed the movie. I already want to see it again! While most of the actors don't look anything like what I pictured (with a few exceptions like Alice and Carlisle and Emmett, Jacob, Mike, and Jessica) I do think they all did very convincing job as the characters. There were even some scenes when I could actually accept Robert Pattinson as Edward. I've also decided I love Kristen Stewart as Bella. So as far as movies made from books go, this one was almost as good as it gets. (Which makes me happy since my other favorite book, The count of monte cristo, was turned into a movie that didn't even try to keep a similar story line. Don't even get me started one that one, I'm still upset about that from 2002! ) I still can't believe Twilight is a movie already. Three years ago when I first read it I was so frustrated that no one I talked to had even heard about Twilight, now I don't know a person who hasn't at least heard of it, let alone read it. It's very surreal. I can't imagine what Stephenie must be feeling. (Did everyone see her camio in the Forks diner!).

Well I just had to write this all out so I can move on with my life. I usually use my journal for my little rants, but I decided to try it out on the blog for once. Hope I wasn't too boring! And in case I was alittle confusing, I definately recommend seeing Twilight!
