smith weekend fun

With school and work and Young Men's taking up the majority of Jason's time, our yard was starting to look shaggy. So Friday I worked up some courage and used the lawn mower for the first time ever! I actually really enjoyed doing it! It was great to get outside and do some physical labor while my boys were napping. Now that I know I can do it, I think I'll do it more often, if not for the exercise, at least to save Jason from sneezing for 3 days from allergies!

On Saturday after Jason got home we went to Gilbert and had dinner at Jason's sister's house and then we all went to SanTan Village and let Jackson and his cousin Brigham play in the water. They got soaked and had a blast. And even though they were both shivering when we made them get out of the water, they still begged for ice cream when we got to Dairy Queen. After getting back to Misty and Tyler's we put the boys to bed and enjoyed watching a few episodes of 24 before heading back home.
Last night we had all the youth from our ward over for a fireside. It is so wonderful to have a house so we can have lots of people over!

Hi Jodi, I don't know if you remember me but we lived up in Pinetop together. Anyway, I saw you on Heidi's blog and wanted to say hi. Are you guys living in Gilbert? My husband and I live really close to the San Tan Mall. Hope all is well and your family is adorable!
